The Eastern Jungle Gym Original Easy 1-2-3 A-Frame Bracket will make life much easier if you are building your own backyard swing set! Our bracket is constructed of heavy-duty steel and finished in a green powder coating. It also features our signature yellow tag to ensure authenticity. This playset bracket is designed for two 4” x 4” legs, and one 4” x 6” swing beam. There is no need for measuring or cutting — simply slide the wood into the bracket and screw in the bolts for a convenient and safe assembly!

Please Read Before Purchasing: The Easy 1-2-3 A-Frame Bracket is designed to fit a kiln-dried 4″ x 6″ top beam with a true measurement of 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. The bracket opening measures 3-5/8″ x 5-5/8″. We suggest measuring your lumber before purchasing to ensure it meets those specifications.

WARNING! Do not attempt to force the wood into the bracket. The lumber should slide into the bracket easily with a snug fit. If your boards are too large it is recommended that the wood be planed down to produce a comfortable fit.

Eastern Jungle Gym’s A-Frame Swing Set Bracket makes building a wooden swing set as easy as 1, 2, 3!

Construct a freestanding backyard swing set with our Easy 1-2-3 A-Frame Bracket. Our bracket is designed to fit kiln-dried lumber. We recommend using two 4″ x 4″ legs with a true measurement of 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ and one 4″ x 6″ top beam with a true measurement of 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. The bracket openings measures 3-5/8″ x 3-5/8″ and 3-5/8″ x 5-5/8″, respectively. We strongly suggest measuring your lumber before purchasing to ensure it meets those specifications.

What do I need to build my A-Frame Swing Set?

We are your experts in backyard play can help provide you with everything you need to build your DIY playset! Please see below for our recommended part list; we recommend it, because we use it!

  • 2 – Easy 1-2-3 A-Frame Swing Set Brackets with Hardware
  • 1 – 114″ 4×6 top beam, kiln-dried with a true measurement of 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
  • 2 – 96″ 4×4 side support legs, kiln-dried with a true measurement of 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″
  • Up to 3 Outdoor Swing Set Swings
  • Swing hangers and Mounting Hardware for Swings
  • 4 – Ground Anchors

A swing set constructed with the recommendations above will have the following completed dimensions: 12’L x 8’D x 7’8″H

We recommend anchoring the swing set into the ground and not exceeding 8-foot side support legs. Our Easy 1-2-3 A-Frame Brackets are designed for residential use only.

  • The angle between the two legs is approximately 45 degrees
  • The angle between the top beam and the side support leg is approximately 105 degrees
